Misunderestimating

"Young men tend to overestimate how much they can accomplish in the short term, but underestimate how much they can accomplish in the long term."

That's true of all sorts of things in life. I got this comment off the 9Marks blog, an anonymous church elder's comment. The long-term accomplishment, under God, is what counts, and people consistently think they can't do much. Marriage, work, all sorts of things.

Hi Gordon,

Just popping in to see what you were rabbiting on about.

Nonsense as usual.

Isn't great to know Jesus loves you and know deep down that you love Him, owe everything to Him and will spend all eternity with Him and lots of other guys and girls, gnarled old saints of God, aborted babies but in the full potential of their man/womanhood, and much more besides, my wife, my son and I hope my daughter who is currently lost and far from Him.

Thank you Jesus, thank you for Gordon too, bless Him in his ministry, in His marriage to Fifi and help him to be a good Dad.

David Palmer who still waits to have a coffee with him!
