'Actually' is a way of emphasizing what you are supposed to do, namely 'it'.
We all agree that 'it' is a good thing. (Whatever 'it' is, but that is another discussion)
We all agree that 'it' needs to be done.
'Actually' adds an element of emphasis that may be taken as emphatic, ironic, sarcastic, revelatory, or just plain emphatic, and has the effect of a slap in the face just as we were beginning to daydream.

Actually, 'actually' is redundant. What's wrong with just plain old 'do it!'? Actually.
