Now THAT is the way to disagree with someone. If only all Christians and Atheists could get past the straw men and smokescreens and relate to each other with this much civility and open truth.
Very interesting. How much do we hate people by not proselytising huh? Amazing insight from an atheist. And yet even though he can make that logical inference, he sees no incongruity in calling the guy who gave him the bible "a good, good man," and waxing lyrical about "goodness," which wouldn't exist if there were no God. So it's also an amazing illustration of the blindness and irrationality of fallen human nature, and the truth of Romans 1 that we really know God is there but we suppress it.
Excellent. Absolutely excellent. You could tell that the seed was placed. He was generally reflective; he was pondering the situation. That is wonderful. All it takes is one grace laden encounter, devoid of shrillness or novelty, to affect the hardened mind and heart of an atheist.
