Mike got a job.

Great stuff too, and not before time.

Why is it that some gospel preachers who are slightly beyond bland find it hard to get consistent employment even in Sydney diocese?

Thankfully people like this aren't in it for the money.

I don't know if it's announced yet. Ask me again in a week if you're still curious.

Mike Hussey?

Quietly dropped by the Australian Cricket team and now the next Rector of St Matthias?

My guess is Mike Wirth and Normanhurst.

And you're right, some of those left of centre but true gospel preachers are often maligned... actually often they are not ordained straight away, while some of those who do get ordained are unfaithful in both their marriages and ministry ... just ask any one of the four guys who've had to step down in the last 12 months, who have been ordain in the last 3 - 4 years!

cmon

since when has ordination been path to perfection?

some of these guys did stuff up, but plenty of unordained guys have done the very same thing!

you are right about mike, good bloke, but lets not make generalised statements which simply arent true
