Interesting but I think she has been unfair to the senators in question and is simply displaying the equal and opposite right wing bias. I don't think the shoe she is trying to force onto their green little pinkies (pun intended) quite fits. Comparisons of them and the Cambridge spies are very far fetched and typical political name calling. The greens (allegedly) try to brand Howard a fascist, so the right wing reporter responds by branding them terrorist-loving commies. They deserve each other.
