Funnily enough I did the same thing yesterday when I discovered the registration renewal papers that arrived last month and that we had been driving around unregistered for three weeks! I hurriedly paid the rego, successfully removed the old sticker which, like yours, peeled off in one piece, and affixed the new one. Thanks for reminding me!
