It is terribly sad that throughout the Middle East, as well as in other parts of the world, Christians are persecuted and yet we hear hardly anything about it. Often it is only if you know Christian groups from those areas [Chaldeans, Assyrians, Syrians, Orthodox...] that you hear about it through them.
May the Lord have mercy on them, and on us to soften our hearts towards our suffering brothers and sisters.
