It seems extraordinary for a leader to define a news organization as not a news organization, yet this is what has happened. Obama is not a man who likes criticism.

Rupert Murdoch is Fox News. Right wing.
Fox News is owned by Murdoch, as is our Daily Tele and London's The Times. I wouldn't lump them all together too quickly.
There's plenty of rubbish from all Aussie media, but I don't remember any of them getting quite as silly as this.
Having said that, I'm not sure it was a smart move by the US administration.
