I'd like to think that I'm the kind of guy who the neighbours and work colleagues will come on TV and say stuff like "He was polite, but mainly kept to himself and spent an awful lot of time on the internet."
(OK I confess, I saw that on Letterman last night. But I believe I've put my own spin on it.)

Ahhhh! but the guys who are described as 'mainly kept to himself and spent a lot of time on the internet' are the ones who have just gone postal and shot up the local Wal-mart

Well as one who mainly keeps to himself [and no, I don't spend a lot of time on the internet :-) ] and is a quiet boy, I always feel victimised when some quiet, keeps-to-himself individual goes postal! They're all out to get me...
