A photo

Many, many years ago a friend came 'round for dinner and was looking at a book we owned about Marilyn Monroe. After a while he said that it was not at all surprising that she appeared so attractive; after all if somebody had that many photos taken of them, you could hardly fail to find a few that looked good. To which I perhaps unkindly responded, 'That's interesting, P, how many photos have they taken of you?' Being a self-effacing man he laughed and acknowledged that there might be a difficulty there.

Anyway, years later—many, many years later—the photographers managed to succeed. ;-)

I love that you bother putting the apostrophe at the start of 'round. Who does that?

Gordo, I followed the link to your friend's website, looked up the topic "trekkers", and to my surprise found myself outed as a start trek fan to 100's of people. Having neglected to write about this exciting fact on my blog partly for reasons of embarrassment, it's nice to know you've done it for me! One of these days I will think of something personal to write about you on line ... but I can't think of anything right now. ;)

Having watched Star Trek past the point of endurance, we've moved on to Babylon 5 and Firefly now. Much more street cred - Firefly, anyway. Even you would like that one!
