Bited

Would you say 'bited' is a word?

I would, but Scrabulous wouldn't, so I had to write 'bidet', which is a bit whatever.

How do explain a post like this with your blogging philosophy?

By the way, I enjoy the randomness of it all, just trying to reconcile....

Hey Steve,

I'm not sure I can explain it. I generally write for my own entertainment. Sometimes I am just sitting there and I look up, and my thoughts are on screen staring at me, which is a bit spooky. I think this post was one of them.

More seriously, I generally figure that one worthy post per day is about enough, whatever worthy means. If someone is checking a blog daily, and each day they see five entries that they have no interest in, and one that they do, that is probably enough to keep coming back.

And one man's meat is another man's poisson, so if you throw out enough random there will be someone out there who will pick through the stuff you've left out on the nature strip and decide it's worth keeping.

Alternatively, and going back to my days studying Psych at UNSW, it could be like when you give hungry rats partial reinforcement for pressing a lever. Every 1 in 20 times they push, on average, they will randomly receive a food pellet. Addiction kicks in a lot quicker and lasts a lot longer. Same principle they use for the pokies in hotels and clubs.

Having just insulted my entire readership, I might just shut up right there.

Remember, I love youse all.

Bidet is a WAY better word than bited. Which may not in fact be a word.

I agree in every way Gordo. Its a bit annoying that I pay more attention to your posts than what Piper says in his though, and I mean your random ones, and not your self titled 'worthy' ones!
:P
You're in good company

Who's 'Piper'? A blogger of some description? Should I check her out?

Didn't she write Out of the Saltshaker or something?

You're just upset you're not referred to publically as "Cheng" yet...
