Mr Pernickety



There he is on the left.

Funnily enough, my children have been calling him 'Mr Finickety', which appears to be a portmanteau word made up of 'pernickety' and 'finicky'.

But who could be bothered pointing it out?

    English can handle new words...I'll expect to see "finickety" in the next OED, with citation to you and your kids. :)

    I loved the Mr Men books...and am introducing them to my niece now.
