Obama attempts press censorship

It seems extraordinary for a leader to define a news organization as not a news organization, yet this is what has happened. Obama is not a man who likes criticism.

    This is very odd. Can someone give more detail or background? For example, which Australian media organisation is Fox News equivalent to?

    Fox News is owned by Murdoch, as is our Daily Tele and London's The Times. I wouldn't lump them all together too quickly.

    There's plenty of rubbish from all Aussie media, but I don't remember any of them getting quite as silly as this.

    Having said that, I'm not sure it was a smart move by the US administration.
