Violet read

Violet narrated for a play at school today.

Hesitation? Anticipation?

None of the first and some of the second, but both words were negotiated with consummate skill.

    What memories.
    Our youngest narrated a part in a play.
    I wasn't able to be there but my wife was.
    The magic words?
    "Next night..."
    Magic to us, anyway
